About Precise Biometrics

Precise Biometrics is a global identification software provider and has been a leader in digital identity solutions since 1997. The company offers products with various applications that enable individuals to identify themselves in a convenient and secure way by using their own unique human characteristics. It operates from its offices in Lund, Sweden, Potsdam, NY, USA, Shanghai, China, Seoul, Korea and Taipei, Taiwan.

Precise has two product areas: Digital Identity and Biometric Technologies. Digital Identity focuses on identification within access, digital services, and visitor management, while Biometric Technologies specializes in fingerprint applications.

Teodor leads the Digital Identity Sales Team, which develops and promotes YOUNiQ Visit and YOUNiQ Access. These systems are both for managing visitors and access for employees and are suitable for businesses in any type of industry that has visitors or high security in general.
As the Head of Sales, Teodor is actively involved in driving sales and supporting his team. His main focus includes coaching team members, identifying new business opportunities, and making strategic decisions. Partners are crucial to the sales process, and Teodor is responsible for finding new partners and maintaining good relationships with them.

Expanding into the Netherlands

Precise Biometrics decided to expand into the Netherlands with one of their product areas: Digital Identity. After thorough research, they chose the Netherlands for several reasons:

  1. Market Similarities: The Dutch market is similar to the Northern European market, sharing comparable business processes and a strong proficiency in English. This cultural and operational alignment makes it easier for Precise Biometrics to introduce their systems.
  2. IT Maturity: The Netherlands boasts a robust IT infrastructure and a high level of IT awareness. Dutch companies are well-adapted to implementing new systems, which aligns with Precise Biometrics’ focus on digital identity solutions.
  3. Suitability for New Technology: The Dutch market’s openness to new technology and innovative solutions makes it an ideal environment for Precise Biometrics’ advanced systems.

Collaboration with Sqales

In order to expand successfully into the Netherlands, Precise Biometrics was looking for a partner with a strong network, business expertise, and a local office. This is how they came across Sqales and started the collaboration.
