Challenge

When we started the partnership, it was difficult for clevergig to find a good in-house SDR in the current market. Cold outreaches are an important part of their growth strategy, so they wanted to address this issue in a scalable way. Michel and Arnoud, the founders of clevergig, were doing all the acquisition themselves at this point. In order to free themselves for other important activities, it was necessary to start scaling the sales immediately. Luckily, Sqales turned out to be the perfect partner.

Solution

Having done market research, there were several industries within the temporary employment agency environment. We decided to start working on those industries one by one in sprints of 6 weeks. In this way we were able to identify the markets, measure the results and make sure we don’t miss any opportunities. We determined some standard qualifications to see if it was relevant enough to spend additional resources on a first call.
Additionally, Sqales joined the weekly sales sessions of clevergig to stay aligned with the team and their plans.

Results

Sqales had a “flying start”. The first meeting was booked within the first days and it immediately converted into a deal.
